Where imagination meets business
White Dutchess Enterprises is the umbrella name that covers all businesses run by Heather L. McMillan. The name was created when she was 10 years old, which is why "Dutchess" is spelled incorrectly. Originally, Heather played a secretary for William H. Bates of Bates Bank. However, when he retired he sold the business to Heather, who renamed the bank, the Queen's Bank. Then Heather decided she wanted her pretend company to expand to include a publishing company since Heather always wanted to be a writer. It was then she created the name White Dutchess Enterprises, which became the umbrella name for all of Heather's make believe businesses.
As you can see, imagination becomes reality, because The At Home Secretary, The Virtual Assistant Resource, The Druid Tarot, and My Coffees and More all fall under the umbrella of White Dutchess Enterprises.
Today Heather still incorporates her imagination into her businesses as much as, if not more than she did back then. The only difference now is that the money is not made of notebook paper. This time, the money is real. But the money didn't always flow easily. In fact, many times people tried to get Heather to give up her dream. But even at 10 years of age, she was a stubborn girl who refused to believe that dreams don't come true.
Heather finds inspiration to continue moving her businesses forward and considers them a success for these reasons:
- She enjoys what she does.
- She learns as much as she teaches.
- She gets to meet people from all over the world.
- She feels good when someone tells her that she did or made something that helped them.
- She teaches her daughter by example instead of just by preaching that action makes dreams come true even when everyone else is betting against you.
So welcome to the main stomping grounds of Heather L. McMillan. She's more than a dreamer; she's a woman of action. And she's ready to take herself and all of the rest of you along to the next level of success in your life, every aspect of your life.
One of the things that stands out with all of my businesses is that I believe in delivering a high level of quality in products, service, and customer response. I, like you, buy things from other people and companies. I expect to be treated like I'm the best customer even if I'm not. And I assume that's how you want to be treated too. |

I work hard to provide as many if not more free and low-cost resources as regular priced items to my customers in every aspect of my business. Your dollars are important to you, and therefore, I will treat them with the respect they deserve by not gouging you. |
It's Not All Business
My life is not all business. I still do enjoy text based roleplaying that I do with two of my best friends, Dave who I've been gaming with since 1995 and Mina who I've been gaming with since 2001. I cherish them both, and I only wish I had more time to meet them in the world of the imagination in our wonderful land of Ivory. It was a lonely, cold place that I created until you two made it feel alive for me. Thank you.

- Pit Bull Rescue Group Supporter - Currently donate to several groups
- Beagle Rescue Group Supporter - Currently donate to several groups
- Advocate of Pit Bull Responsibility and Awareness
- Save the Children child sponsor of a child in the United States (we should help our own first!)
- Active and practicing Druid with Buddhist philosophies (yes, it's hard to fit in)
- 2 Flower Gardens and vegetables and herbs in a "bucket" garden
