Betting on CoC Matches
What would a competitive event hosted by Kerrinne be with out the opportunity to gamble? Nothing, of course! Even watchers to matches can now participate in the Circle of Champions through betting with QCs.
CoC Betting Rules:
1. Betting with your QCs can be done via email before a CoC match takes place. The email must be sent to Kerrinne stating all the fighters' names, the predicted/bet on winner, and the amount being bet. The email MUST be received BEFORE the start time of the log of the match. Proctor states the time and date (including the time zone) at the start of each log. If the proctor does not state the time/date and time zone prior to the fighting in that match, ALL bets are forfeit for that match.
2. Betting with your QCs can also be done in the room while the match log has started prior to inits being rolled. The bets (amount and person you are betting on winning) must be clearly stated by the bettor. Anyone (even the proctor and the fighters) can place bets prior to inits being rolled. Once inits have been rolled, bets are closed for that match. After log is started and some time before inits are rolled, proctor should pause to ask if anyone wishes to place bets.
3. Minimum bet is 5 QC, Maximum bet is 100 QC. The losing funds go into a CoC Account, the winners are paid 150% of their bet from the CoC Account. Take the bet amount and multiply by 1.5 to get the payout for winning; I will be rounding up from .5 to get a whole number of QCs. This payout percentage is subject to change in the future depending on how it goes in the long run.
