Tour the House of Ivory

The main entrance to the House of Ivory is located on the "South Wing" of the house. This wing is used for entertaining guests, ambassadors, and other esteemed visitors. It consists primarily of ballrooms, sitting rooms, drawing and board rooms, dining rooms, and formal suites. Here we begin the tour of the South Wing.

From the main entrance, a person would enter into the lobby through a set of ivory double doors with stained panels near the top. The brilliant red carpet and ivory and gold trim set off the room in addition to the grand staircase.
The Great Hall was off to the right of the Lobby and was often the place guests were taken to first to wait for their host(s) to arrive. It is here we first glimpse the mixture of futuristic items being placed around this castle, such as the lamps. Oddly though, there are no plugs for electricity. They seemed to be running on magic alone.

The armory in the South Wing showcases weapons and armor across the warmth of the room's yellow walls. Most of the weapons on display were made by Kerrinne's late grandfather, Karal Bairde MacMillan. He was a pyromancer and a smithy. At the edge of the willow grove outside he had a forge where he made all these weapons. It is still there to this day. Most of the weapons belonging to the House, though, are stored in the East Tower. Only the finest show pieces are displayed here in the armory.
The gallery contains expensive and rare portraits and pieces of art from sculptures to oil paintings to vases and more. From every reach of the earth and even of the planet of RhyDin, these pieces tell the stories of Kerrinne's journey over time and distance. Two worlds and nearly eight decades worth of travel, intrigue, and adventure are stored here.
Sitting rooms are dotted all over the entire castle, even here in the South Wing. Kerrinne likes to entertain smaller groups of visitors in these rooms since they are more cozy and less formal than the great rooms. This is often where guests will come to share a spot of hot tea at tea time as well.
