The days of the RoL were very happy days for Kerrinne. She was able to quietly pursue her small version of Underground RhyDin in the background while dedicating her free time to helping Vois with the RoL. They had a son together (1997) named Kyle Sthavar Kl'ramordan, though Vois would come to Kerrinne not long after with terrible news that he would have to return to his homeland to help fight a war there. It broke Kerrinne's heart to watch him go, and for years after his disappearance, she never even dreamed of seeking another man.
With his departure, the RoL was going through a stagnant time. Many members in the RoL were coming to hold dual membership with the BoL as both were sister guilds at the time (and hung out in the SEB). It was through the BoL that Kerrinne had her first space ship ride into outer space by one of their Captains. An exciting journey for sure to a woman brought up in a non-futuristic world prior to her encounter with RhyDin. She made friends such as Raphtontis Amon, Edina (Dina) Amon, Aliastra Amon (Alliandra), and Jester Jake through the BoL. Though it wasn't long that some of those very same people would come back with Kerrinne to the RoL.
The RoL was ready for a rebirth, and Kerrinne felt the ties and the tug of her heartstrings to return the RoL to Vois' vision of it. Some of the members at the time of the rebirth were King Helm, Sir Briari, Sentry Hemlock Sage, Paladin, Kittyn (SIC), Eve, Kolar Stormkiller, Raph, and Alliastra. Helm, Sentry and Paladin were all at some point either Primarch or Patriarch of the RoL. Kerrinne preferred to stay in the background running the intel department and steering the council in the right direction of Vois' vision for the guild.
The UR was starting to thrive, and her work spying on the BoD was paying off rather nicely. Though she had a job opportunity to spy for the BoD instead of on it. There was no harm in double-dealing, at least in her mind. Business was business, and profit was profit after all. No one had to know she was working both sides of the fence. Really, what did she care who won or not? It only mattered that her pockets were padded in the process. Ivory was expensive to upkeep, and England had slashed their payoffs to titled Lords and Lady's that owned land in RhyDin. So her first big job for the BoD was to spy on the newly broken away ELoW for it. Denkken was a man many people sought information on. So it was here she began to learn all about the ruthless and conniving drow.
Whispers of Kerrinne's secret intel dealings made their way back to several places. The Woodshadow family would know of these rumors due to their connection to the Brotherhood of Darkness. Shara, a member of the RoL who had a desire to rise up into the high ranks of the Council of the RoL, was a member of the Woodshadow Family. She used her marriage of convenience to Briari, the Minister of Diplomacy in the RoL, and this whispered gossip to fuel her rise to power in the RoL. She was jealous of the sway Kerrinne had in the RoL, and in her twisted mind, Shara felt the RoL should center on herself. Here and there she began to weave her web placing doubt of Kerrinne's motives in the RoL within the minds of all the council members.
She would manipulate Briari to her cause, and together the two would slowly change the RoL from what it was intended to be to a very new and different creation. One that Kerrinne did not believe the founder, Cecil, or her missing husband, Vois, ever wanted for the guild. In her attempts to stand up and fight for these things, she only began to cast more doubt in the minds of the members of the RoL. Things got very ugly within the guild and in Kerrinne's mind the only way to solve this turmoil within the RoL and perhaps save it was for her to leave.
