Kincaid
Helston MacMillan was born June 24, 1552 (Mun year 2001) to
Kerrinne Lynne MacMillan and Larook Helston. Part demon and
part human, Kincaid was born with two souls intertwined into
one body. The dangers of one gaining control and destroying
the other were too high of a risk to take. While Kerrinne
had custody of Kincaid after hers and Larook's breakup, she
turned to her best friend and lover Chialms Lockson, Grey
God of Chaos, to separate the two souls.
The process
was highly dangerous for both the demonic and the mortal soul
within the boy, and it was also equally dangerous for Chialms
Lockson. Even Gods have some limitations. After a nerve shaking
procedure, it was finally done. The two souls were separated.
Chialms left the mortal soul in the body that was born from
Kerrinne and took the demonic soul and put it in a body of
his own construct to serve as host.
The two
boys would look exactly alike at this time, so Chialms said
it was best to separate them right away to avoid any confusion.
He took the demonic Kincaid, now known as Kincaid Helston,
to House Helston where he lives to this day. The mortal Kincaid
was given back to Kerrinne. He spent the first three years
of his life being raised at Ivory by his Nanny, Velicity Rebane,
and his big sister, Korrina Annsley Joy MacMillan Kl'ramordan.
When he
turned three, his mother sent for him and Velicity to come
live with her on the Brotherhood of Darkness Compound where
she lived in a suite on the fourth floor with her lover Jay
Gar, also known as Jagger. Though Jagger is now gone, Kincaid
lives between that suite and the House of Ivory toggling between
exploring the world of his mother's dark deals and social
facades and his siblings lighter and more gentle dealings
with people.
He has
blue eyes and dark black hair. HIs abilities are not yet fully
known, but it is obvious from his mannerisms and speech that
he far exceeds the average four year old. He shows no signs
of magical or demonic powers at this time, but both are strong
options since they still course through his blood and genetic
makeup.
For now,
he is usually found reaching out to touch or hold the hands
of people around him. It is almost eerie to think of what
the boy might actually be doing in that simple gesture, and
no one has thought to ask the boy what it is that he's seeing.
He quietly
watches his Mother's business but feels a heavy sense of loss
with his former stepfather, Jagger's exit from his life as
he greatly admired the man. Leisurely he appears to be watching
the world go by; there aren't many things his piercing blue
eyes don't absorb.
